Beautiful gardens of the North & South Island
Stop thinking for a minute or two. Turn on a favourite song, and let your finger scroll down the page, while you transport yourself to some of New Zealand's finest gardens.
Do you love a beautiful garden as much as I do? Over the years travelling to and around New Zealand, I've explored some garden master pieces with my partner, Nick. It is our plan to return to the South Island to elope in December this year, but things are not looking good for travel are they. While thinking of returning there for more adventures, I thought I'd share some dreamy garden photo's with you - a feast for your eyes.
Hydrangea's in the Whangarei hills, residential property - North land
The most spectacular tree formation, Russell - North Island
Roadside, looking over Oneroa Bay, Russell - North Island
KeriKeri Basin - North Island - Cottage gardens with a large established Magnolia tree
The Hamilton Gardens, Hamilton - North Island. Absolutely worth a visit, the variety in garden styles is extensive and so well cared for.
Trott's Garden - Ashburton, South Island - This private garden is dream like. You must visit.
(Photo quality is a little poor sorry)
Ashburton Domain & Gardens, Ashburton - South Island
Lake Tekapo, summer time Lupins! - South Island
Meanderings along the Arrow river, Arrowtown - South Island
I hope this has given you a moment or two of ease during your day. Most of the time life can be so full on we don't take out a little time in the day for ourselves, to imagine or to have creative thoughts - the best kind of thoughts.
PS. Do you know of any beautiful gardens in NZ worth a visit? I'd love to know for my next visit.
Until next post, take care.
